To register and access the University of the Witwatersrand Student Online Portal for the first time follow the steps below:
- Visit the Wits University Student Self Service Portal
- Type in your number and your preferred password
- Click on the submit button
- Follow every instruction on the screen until your account is set up successfully.
Current Students – Your Password is your current Student password. If you have forgotten your password click here.
Applicants – Your Password is your date of birth in (YYMMDD) format eg. 861224 .
