Accessing the 2022 PLE Results

All is set for the release of the 2022 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results. 

The venue for the scientific release is State House, Entebbe.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on all National Television and Radio stations, as well as other social media channels.

Candidates, parents and other interested parties may use the Short Message Services (SMS) on mobile telecom networks which will post the results of candidates on their mobile sets instantly. 

This will be done by typing PLE <Space> Full Index Number of the candidate, e.g. 003301/368 and send to 6600 on all mobile telecom networks.

School Administrators will be able to download the results from the examination centre portals as they are officially released. No hard copies of the results will be available at the UNEB offices for now, until a later date when conditions permit.

When that time comes, UNEB will officially inform the District, Municipal and City Inspectors of Schools to collect the hard copies of the results from UNEB offices.

HOW DO I CHECK A MY RESULTS USING A PHONE VIA SMS?

1. Using SMS, Go to messages.
2. Type the Exam code say, PLE [leave space] INDEX NUMBER and send to 6600.

For example,

• To check for PLE candidate 000012/003.
• Go to messages, type PLE 000012/003 and send to 6600.
• You will receive an SMS with the results.
• Please note that this service is charged UGX 500 per SMS

If you don’t use SMS platforms, then you can also use UNEB’s e-registration platform which also has the latest results.

HOW DO I CHECK A MY RESULTS USING THE INTERNET?

1. Using Internet Browser, Go to your web browser.
2. Type ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results in your browser.
3. In the form, enter the candidate’s Index Number and click SEARCH.
4. A page with the Candidate’s results will load.
5. Please note that this service is free and all you need is internet to access it.
