These three ledgers are maintained for taxpayers on the GST website and are accessible to the taxpayer. If you want to check the input tax credit (ITC) balance, then you will have to access the electronic credit ledger.
How To Check ITC On GST Portal
- Log in to the GST website using your credentials.
- Click on the “Services” button, then on “Ledgers”, and then on “Electronic Credit Ledger”.
- On the Electronic Credit Ledger page, you will be able to check the input tax credit balance as of today’s date as well as Blocked Credit Balance and Provisional Credit Balance.
- If you want to view the ITC balance for a particular period, then click on the “Electronic Credit Ledger” link, and choose the ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates.
- Finally, just tap on “Go” to get the required details.
