Why Do I Need A Scholarship Fund ?
A scholarship fund is a charitable grant for helping students offset the cost of higher education. In general, scholarship recipients put the money toward direct educational expenses, such as textbooks, fees, and tuition.
Scholarships and grants are types of aid that do not have to be repaid. They may take the form of Adelphi University scholarships or need-based grants, federal or state grants, or outside scholarships. Application deadlines may apply to certain types of aid.
Adelphi scholarships are renewable each year for students who meet certain performance criteria. Adelphi need based grants are renewable for students who meet the FAFSA filing priority deadline of February 15 each year and who continue to demonstrate financial need.
